Proposal: Selling My North Pole Claim |
"Once there were 5 claims to the North Pole.
Now there are more than 1500 claims made by ordinary citizens
who joined me to take over the North Pole AND its huge oil- and
gas reserves ourselves "
Harald van Reenen, the First Person in the World who has
Claimed the North Pole.
Why should you want to sell
the North Pole certificates?
A product that sells
should solve a problem. So here's your problem:
what present to buy
for the person who already has everything?
A book? A CD? Wow! The one who receives that gift will see from
a mile's distance you give them a book - again. I bet when
you give them the North Pole gift certificate they remember it even a year
later. People will certainly talk about this remarkable
gift. That's a feat for a simple present!
Your customer buys the North
Pole Package which includes their own personilised claim to the
North Pole. The claim becomes part of "The International
People's Claim to the North pole".

How did I come up with this idea?
I was greatly inspired
by Dennis Hope who says he owns the moon and the rest fo the
universe. You may call him nuts, I call him brilliant: since the
eigthies he's selling pieces of the moon to customers and makes
at least a million dollars a year.
Just like the MOON BUSINESS or
the NAME-A-STAR-BUSINESS the selling of these
North Pole certificates can grow into a
multi-million dollar business as well.
Advantages when you sell
the North Pole Packages:
It's unique (e.g. no
competition), free media interest, product (certificate and
documents) can easily be printed so you don't need to have
everything in stock.
What do you need for your North Pole Claim business?
A website, various payment
options for your customers on your website and a sense of humor.
Well, and time to process the orders you'll receive. That's it.
My company is not just fun, it's serious fun!

Who am I?
I'm Harald and I received
a lot of media interest
when I started out on dec- 2007 selling my North Pole Claim in
the Netherlands. A week ago again I was mentioned in various
Dutch media when I announced I had sold so far 1250 claims to
the North Pole. Due to this its now more than 1500
claims.
Big chance you can have the same positive
reaction from the press when you start selling the North Pole packages in your country
as well.

“I would however like to say how impressed we
have been with the concept, the
product and the marketing that you have
developed”
Quote from William Folkes, Head of Retail, moonestates.com .
They sell the moon in the UK, making at least 1 million
pounds a year.
THE SHORT READ:
DUTCH GUY CLAIMS NORTH POLE
5 polar nations claimed the North Pole. So far nobody is owner
of the North pole. They want to be owner of it due to its huge
oil- and gas reserves which can be found under the melting ice
sheet.
After reading this in the newspaper I realized
one day I'll have to pay for the oil they were fighting for. I
thought: why wait till I have to pay for the petrol at the gas
station? I decided to join them. So now there
were 6 claims.
After I claimed the North Pole
and notified the polar nations and U.N. about this I started to
sell North Pole claims to the Dutch public via my webshop Giantclaim.
These claims become part of the "International People's Claim to
the North Pole', that's the name of my claim.
So far I didn’t pay anything for
advertising. And if you’re familiar with Adwords from Google: it
takes wads of money to get some customers. With this idea you
can have it for free.
This success can easily be copied
to other countries as well. You’re invited to join the party.
It's fun, i'ts
serious and it's profitable.

HOW IT WORKS
Buying a North Pole Package makes
the buyer automatically co-owner of "The People's Claim", meaning: If
our
claim will ever be recognized everyone who has joined me will have their equal share in the vast profits that
can be made by exploiting the Arctic.
IF (and that’s a big if as you can see) we want
to exploit it. Do we want to exploit the Artic or do we
want to leave the North Pole alone? The future of the North Pole should be
in our hands.
If we leave it up
to Poetin (or was it Medvedev?) we know what will happen to the
Artic. And we are going to pay the price for this!
Why don't we take matters into
our own hand?
I started this project in
December 2007 in the Netherlands. Did it catch fire? You bet!
I had a plethora of phone
calls from the press just minutes after I sent out a press
release. Customers thought it was a “brilliant” plan and I was inundated with orders I barely could manage.
I really had no idea this could
be such a success. If only I had started this just one month
earlier I could have sold at least 10.000 North Pole Packages.
This was the perfect Christmas gift I found out.
I have no doubt you can have the
same response from media AND customers when you represent
me in your country.

THE BIG READ
The story
So I’m Harry (43, ex-librarian) and I’m the first
person in the world who has claimed the North Pole, including
its vast energy reserves which may be found under the melting
ice sheet. I filed my claim with the Library of Congress
and others.
Why?
I did this after reading an article in a
newspaper about the 5 so called Polar nations (United
States, Russia, Denmark, Norway and Canada) who are all claiming
the North Pole.
So far nobody owns the North Pole. I thought:
why shouldn’t I as individual claim the North Pole as well?
If I have to pay for the oil at the petrol station, why not
claiming it myself?
Let’s face it: Whether you’re a
British, Russian or an Australian citizen, we all have to pay for the
rising oil prices. So to be 100 percent clear. It’s not against
the citizens of these great Polar nations.
If you’re an American or a
Russian , you all have to pay at the petrol station. So why
wouldn’t we as ordinary citizens claim the North Pole oil
ourselves, no matter if you’re a national from the U.S, Russia
(Polar nations) or from Europe or Asia?
WHY WAIT TILL WE HAVE TO PAY FOR
IT? THAT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. Well not to me it did.
Sure, when your name is
Roman Abramovich (Russian oil
billionaire) you benefit from
all this, but not when your name is John Smith (or the Russian
equivalent).
That’s why I drew up a claim and
notified the Polar nations about my audacious action. So now
there were 6 claims to the North Pole.
I knew from the start my
“layman’s claim” would not stand a chance against the United
States or the Republic of Russia. But what if I was joined by
other individuals, I asked myself? If, let say millions of
people would join my claim? Would those in power still ignore my
claim?
I decided to give it a try.
That’s why I began on the 12th
of December 2007 a website called giantclaim.com aimed at
Dutch customers, calling them on to join my claim in order
to bolster it against the other Polar claims.
My philosophy: The more
people join me the stronger my claim will be. Farfetched? Yes,
but we are all voters and therefore can influence governments.

How it works:
People can join me when they buy
a North Pole Claim Certificate Package. They will be registered
on my International database system as a claimant to the North
Pole, joining me as the Master Claim holder of The
International People’s Claim to the North Pole, that’s the
name of my claim.
Those who join me become
“co-owner” of my claim. Meaning, everyone who has joined me
will have a fair share of those profits once our claim is
recognized by the United Nations or any other organization that
deals with the North Pole.
Did it catch on in the
Netherlands?
Yes, it surely did. As soon as I
sent out a Dutch press release I was inundated with phone calls
from the media. I appeared in many newspapers across the
country, radio shows and on television.
Before all this happened I
actually thought I would sell just something like 4 claim
certificates in a month for a start, but it became to my
surprise more than 400 in one day!
It’s now 3 months later and I’m
working on bringing my North Pole initiative to other countries
as well. One country has already signed up (at this moment
I'm not allowed to say which country) Other
countries will follow suit.
Why would you want to take my
product on board?
1. The publicity around my North
Pole claim reached so far only the Dutch press. The press
release was written in Dutch. Chances are that something
similar can happen when a press release in your own language is
sent out.
2. The North Pole Package is
unique
3. It’s a perfect Christmas gift
4. The North Pole is “hot”. The
melting of the North Pole will attract media attention in the
next years to come. Journalists want to report of course in a
serious manner about this problem, but will also would like
something to “cheer up” their reports.
My initiative to take
over the North Pole ourselves as world citizens, will certainly
has its appeal to the media and to prospective customers of the
North Pole certificates.
But most of all it’s the
thrilling story about one individual who takes on the most
powerful nations of the world.
3 months ago there were 5 claims
to the North Pole. Now, there are more than 1500 claims to the
North Pole, formed by ordinary Dutch people who have
enthusiastically embraced and joined my People’s Claim to the
North Pole.
Not impressive? If only I would
have started a month ago I could have sold more than 10.000
certificate packages. That’s 10.000 times 20 euro. Quite an
achievement in a small country like Holland. And that’s just the
beginning.
I found out it’s a perfect
Christmas gift and I promise you I will be much better prepared
for the next Christmas 2008.
So where I am now?
At this moment I’m working hard
to present a special North Pole package to the Dutch retail
business which will be in the shop in the last quarter of this
year (Christmas) and I’m just started a few days ago to spread
the North Pole Claim initiative internationally.
If you read this business
proposal you’re one of the first, but not very long.
Just like the MOON BUSINESS or
the NAME-A-STAR-BUSINESS- If this idea is catching on to other
parts of the world the selling of these certificates will be a
multi-million dollar business.
For example:
www.moonestates.com
a British based company that sells the moon has sold more than 200.000
pieces of “their” moon in the past 4 years. They rake in at
least 1 million pounds each and every year from their moon
business (source: The Daily Telegraph, June 17, 2006.)
My North Pole business is greatly
inspired by the MOON selling and will no problem whatsoever copy
their success. It’s a license to print money (I always wanted to
say that:)
No doubt, with International
aimed publicity-friendly projects about my North Pole
initiative in the pipeline many more individuals around the
world will become co-owner of my claim.
I promise you this: I’m a
creative guy and will use my ideas to stir up more
media-interest (free) in the next years to come and that means a
lot of customers for OUR business!
So now I come to the inevitable question to you:
Would YOU like to sell the North Pole certificates in your
country on a commercial basis?
What you need is a
website, press release and well, that's it. By the way, this
article can also be sold via the retail business.
So, if you’re enthusiastic about
this initiative and seriously want to begin in 2008 to sell
North Pole packages exclusively on my behalf in your own country
email me at:

and your proposal.
